This bike has spent the majority of its time mounted as wall art in my dining room and with another bike recently purchased this one sadly has to go. The bike sat in storage for roughly a decade before I bought it two years ago and brought it back to life. Details: Frame and fork: 1986 Alan Record in a size 56 (I'm 6'1"-6'2" for reference). These are early aluminum frames that are screwed and glued. Some minor scratches and scuffs but no dents on the frame at all. One of the previous owners removed the Alan stickers. I personally think it looks cleaner without and did not bother sourcing replacements. Headset: Shimano 105 Saddle: Brooks Cambium C15 Seatpost: American Classic Bars: Mod Italia Competition with Cinelli gel cork bar tape Brakes: Speedy Modolo front & rear, with brand new Soma brake hoods and Jagwire white/stainless braided housing and cables. Pads do squeal like a pig and can act as an impromptu bell Front shifter and derailleur: Dura-Ace with a Suntour Superbe Pro FD Rear shifter and derailleur: Campagnolo with a Suntour VX RD Cranks: Campagnolo Strada 170mm Tires: Barely used Continental Ultrasport 23C Wheelset: Mixed with a Mavic Open 4 CD up front and Weinmann rear Pedals: Random 2012 Shimano SPD-SLs thrown on for pictures, but could be included I'm willing to sell it without the Brooks Cambium.
