Started out in 2010 Dirt Wars UK has gone from strength to strength to become the UK’s leading Dirt Jump Series.

Every year we have managed to better the last year even with the British weather against us! Our aim is to give European riders the best British venues, with a variety of different jump styles, not only to test the riders ability through out the season but also to create the best possible action at the competitions.

We are always proud to say our series has been and still currently backed by some of the biggest names in the MTB Industry.

2014 Sponsors:-

For 2014 we are super proud to have DMR Bikes as our title sponsor. A true British Dirt Jump brand for a true British Dirt Jump series!

DMR have been with us since day one and always put up amazing prize packages that the riders love.

We are stoked to announce that JVC Adixxion have come on board for 2014 as our official action cam sponsor. Adixxion will be supplying us with their awesome quality GC-XA2 cams to film the series and all Dirt Wars goings on. The GC-AX2 is set to rival if not destroy the competition and they are also chucking some cams into the prize bags too.

Round 4 The Track Portreath Cornwall

We would like to welcome Marzocchi back for their second year supporting the series. Marzocchi will be adding some suspension magic to the open prize packages again this year in the form of their DJ1 fork.

Kenda Tires are back for their 5th series; Kenda will be supplying both open and pro category winners with their Small Block8 tires and tubes.

The 2014 clothing sponsor will be in the form of Dickies Streetwear.

Whilst more well known within the skateboard world, Dickies streetwear have decided to get involved with MTB and have backed the DWUK Crew and series for 2014

Odessa shoes are also back for their second year supplying the winners in both categories with a pair of their great shoes.

Hayes Brands Answer, Hayes Brakes and Sun/Ringlé are with us for their third series now and always put up some real cool prize packages.

New sponsors CamelBak have joined us for 2014 bringing their hydration packs into the mix to keep some of this years winners hydrated whilst out on the trails.

After taking a year out for other commitments Rose Bikes are back with us and a few lucky winners will be walking away with one of their amazing Bruce Dj frames.

Bulldog tools have taken a shine to DWUK as they are back for their second series supplying trail spades to the 1st place winners of each round and full digging kits for the overall winners in both Open & Pro.

Bell Helmets normally take the best crash comp but this year we have decided to give them the best trick comp as we don’t like to see our riders crash. So the best trick at each round will get you a new shiny Bell helmet!

Onguard locks will be giving our riders peace of mind as they will be supplying some of our winners with top dollar security locks to keep your steed’s safe when your not with them…

Pinkbike will again be our official media partner so check out their site for all reports, photos and edits after each round.

This years venues will include :-

Round 2 of the Spank Dirt Wars 2013

Holdshott Trails, Hampshire – A return to Holdshott trails will be welcome by many as it was viewed as one of the most fun rounds of the year but if you weren’t there then this tried and tested trail spot which will not disappoint from a riders point of view. This spot is on private land and has a mixture of big dirt jumps, twisting trails and slopestyle obstacles which again will provide one of the most exciting comps of the year.

Round 2 of the Spank Dirt Wars 2013

PORC, Kent – As one of the longest standing Dirt Jump competition venues in the UK, Penshurst Off Road Club (aka PORC) is still a well-used facility. Favored by those who prefer straight, sender-style jumps rather than more technical trails, PORC will always give an action packed battle amongst the riders.

RocketWorld, Henstridge Airfield, Somerset – The most progressive and slopestyle of all the venues, RocketWorld takes a more European approach to the course with wooden ramps into dirt landings. Not to forget the 15 feet high platform halfway through the line, dropping you back into the second straight with ample speed for more stunts. Returning for a second year the course will be even more gnarly for this years comp.

Wisley Trails, Surrey – We are waiting to confirm Wisley as our round 4 spot but Wis is defiantly a firm favorite amongst the riders, we are hoping to return to Wisley for the third year in the firm knowledge that the pristine jumps will encourage the highest caliber of riding. These aren’t just comp jumps but have all the required trails flow to allow the riders to execute their best tricks with style & finesse.
