Pinkbike Poll: Do You Use Your Climb Switch?
I ride a Tilt and I’ve never felt the need to use mine. It pedals great with the shock open.

Opinion: The Lasting Allure of Radio Tower Rides
The third day of a three day bike packing trip in Grand Staircase Escalante. We rode past the sign warning people to turn around and go a different way. Then we turned onto Death Ridge. Then we spent the next 4-5 hours riding over softball-sized rocks. Down a sketchy eroded out Jeep road descent. Cross a washed-out creek crossing on foot, climb the next gnarly loose washed out climb to the next high point. Repeat.

Oct 10, 2021NS Snabb Trail Bike
$1200 USDThis is a fun trail bike. I’ve had it from new and I’m only selling it because I got a new bike. Everything is in good working shape.
445 reach, 599 stack. I ride it with a 74 cm saddle height.
175 Fox transfer dropper
170 Shimano SLX crankset with a 32 tooth ring
MRP bash guard
Shimano XT wheelset - a few dings in the rim. Tires seat fine with a compressor and hold air.
SLX brakes - 2 piston in back with a newer Deore 4 piston caliper in front. 203 front/180 rear
XT derailleur and shifter with an 11-42 cassette. The chain has very little wear.
Vittoria Mazza front tire with trail casing and Martello rear tire with enduro casing, both are in pretty good shape.
Easton bars - 750 mm wide
I’m posting it here for a week, after that I’ll put it up on EBay. If you really want this and want it shipped, I’m willing to do so if you cover the cost to pack and ship it.

Pinkbike Poll: Have You Ever Broken Carbon Fiber Cranks?
I’ve never had carbon cranks.
But, the first real MTB race I ever entered was a cross-country race in Georgia sometime around 2000. Literally the first thing I saw as I headed to the registration area after getting to the race venue was a guy from the race before mine standing around with a sad face holding a broken carbon crank in his hand.
