How are these highlights? Just read the results if you want to know who won. Let's see some hot MTB action from the real folks who we've never heard of! Less yappin', more brappin'!

Forgive my ignorance, where was this held? There are many canyons in many arid states.

It took me no more than 2 minutes of perusing the interwebs to find my answer, but putting even a state name in there somewhere would be helpful for conveying the information and letting riders know where they might go if they want to ride in the environs of Canyons Resort (Park City, UT btw).

Yeah man, I've noticed that sometimes it's hard to determine the location without lots of research. Would be nice if they always included the location when they post stuff like this! That said, canyons is a great resort in a beautiful area! Can't wait to get back there!

Just visit the event's website or even their PB profile. Its all blatantly stated. The Canyons is putting in some more effort into their trails but if you do make it back out here, be sure to check out what Deer Valley has been up to. It should be awesome in the coming years. My buddies who raced loved it this year... so jealous. First one I've ever missed Frown

Yeah, I realize that, but would be nice if they just included the location at the top of the article sometimes so you dont gotta dig. I never made it to Deer Valley but have heard good things, and that they are more tech. Last I was at Canyons was a few years ago and it was a blast, though nothing technical. If both resorts keep expanding their trails that area will be great for longer travel bikes. Miss that area!

Deer Valley's new flow trail was built by gravity logic, and let me just say hats off to those guys. The thing is just insanely fun. Reminds me of how canyons USED to be. Seriously, Deer Valley is my preferred lift accessed riding now. I just wish dorks stayed open later than September 6th. Jackson Hole doesn't close til almost October for hell's sake...

@scott-townes, this year's race was a blast! Sorry you missed it. It was my first time on the Canyon's DH trail, but had a damn fun time on it.

@gromer shit I might have! Apologies to the rider! I knew Smith made Goggles and just figured they made sunglasses too but it seems like they do not.

Oh, Smith for sure makes sunglasses as well, I own some. Also own Oakleys as well haha

anyone else realize the chick who won was wearing a pair of Oakleys while saying "as new member riding for the Scott team winning means a lot to me" ??
  • 1 0
Did you mean Smith or something? Oakley and Scott aren't competitors.

Teal rides for the SCOTT 3Rox team but is contracted with Oakley for eyewear. Pretty typical among pros.
