Trek Superfly 8

$1995 USD
Looking to get a mountain bike for riding Stewart and our other local hot spots without spending half a years income? How about this - I have a 2015 Trek Superfly FS 8 lightweight aluminum framed 29er that I purchased in 2016 as a left over that has only been lightly trail ridden in the local area. This is a extremely clean lightweight full suspension XC/ trail bike with very little time on it. I've listed the specs on the bike so you can see that it has some very good parts on it - with 100mm of plush suspension front and back - and upgrades - NOT BAD! If you have any questions please feel to call. Bike build: **Frame: 2015 Trek Superfly FS 8 med/large 18.5"actual (19.5" virtual ) 29er- Alpha Platinum Aluminum, ABP Convert, E2 tapered head tube, internal derailleur & dropper post routing, press fit BB, Flow Mold carbon swing link, G2 Geometry, 100mm travel. **Front fork: Upgraded from stock- Rock Shox Reba- 100mm travel with remote handlebar lockout. **Rear shock: Fox Float CTD- 100mm travel, factory tuned for this frame, Fox's Climb, Trail, Decend adjustable three mode dampener. **Drivetrain: Full Shimano SLX 2x10 crankset, shifters, and derailleurs. Specialized Enduro 29 Comp 1X11

$1900 USD
Up for sale is my clean but used 2014 Specialized Enduro 29er Comp that has some awesome upgrades. From new this bike was converted to 1 X 11 which included new X01 carbon crankset, X01 shifter and X01 rear derailleur. This also meant I had to upgrade the wheels to roval's that came on the carbon Enduro due to the SRAM XD driver. The brakes where all upgraded right off the bat for the poor operating Formula C1's to the Shimano XT 785's and I also upgraded the rotors to Shimano XT86's with ice technology. This bike also comes with a KS LEV 125mm post(post has some use and could use a rebuild). This bike is equipped with the factory RochShox Pike 160mm fork and 155mm of travel through the factory fox shock. If you have questions hit me up

Niner Rip 9 carbon

$2800 USD
Here's how the story goes: I purchased this 2016 model Niner Rip 9 carbon full suspension trail oriented medium size bicycle Oct '15 with the idea that I was going to find more time to ride this year, but alas, I haven't had time to do so - and I've got more bikes in my collection than I should , so it's time to clean out the garage a little. Chalk it up to a 56 year old kid with no time to play as hard as I'd like to. So now I have an new bike - and although this award winning new full suspension bike design is state of the art and it's awesome, and has some great components on it, it's just sitting in the garage in the rack- and what good is that ? So I'm offering it at a substantial discount as compared to the new replacement price - for the person thinking about new bikes , but would like to save some bucks too. The bike only has about 25 miles of light trail riding (Stewart Forest Preserve trails) on it and it is good as brand new (actually it is set up better than new after I dialed in the finer points of adjustments ). You might ask why I haven't ridden it more- maybe I wouldn't want to give it up - maybe so , but the other problem is that if I end up beating it up riding , then there will be even more lost value- so I'd rather just minimalize my losses now while the bike is still brand new - and has the best possible value. The replacement value of the bike is 4100.oo , so at my price of 3495.00 you save yourself a bunch of bucks and get virtually a brand new bike (no one could say that it wasn't new). And it has extra features and goodies too (which even add more to the replacement cost) The bike is a medium size full carbon fiber frame with a aluminum rear tri-angle in matte black with bright green highlights and red accents to add some color . The basic specs are as follows: 2016 Niner Rip 9 Carbon - medium size lizard skins protective soft covers on the lower chain stays Custom fitted poly/rubber rock guards on the front of the down tube and the lower BB housing Marsh guard mud fenders - color matched SDG ODI color match lock on grips on 760mm wide bars Niner YAWYD stem cap Custom red hardware pieces I've added to enhance to the "wow effect" - I don't like non-interesting mechanical items - ( bling is the term the young'ins use) custom protective decals I installed on the crank arms to protect them from scratches and dings. clear decal overlays on high wear area's of the bike to avoid scuffing of the finish (I'm absolutely a neat freak) silicone cable rub protectors custom color matched water bottle carrier Race Face red crank arm tip protectors Upgraded tires to Maxxis Ardent 2.4 front and 2.5 rear Equipment Goodies include: Sram 1x11 GX drive w/ 10-42 rear cassette Fox 34 Performance fork 140mm travel Sram X1 rear der, X1 shifters upgraded 30T front chainring oversize 180mm front and 160 rear rotor KS 100mm hydraulic dropper seat post Niner Classic saddle Niner straight bars, Green sticky grips Suspension adjustment and lockout abilities - and MORE! please note that carbon fiber material shows odd shadows / reflections when photographed due to the weave pattern in the material , most of the "shadows" in the pics do not really exist - you have to see this bike to appreciate it's appearance and shine You can reach me at 845-564-o63o or 845-564-47o5 9am to 6pm daily - my name is chip . Thanks for looking. PS if it helps, you can also use a credit card to purchase, but 8.125% sales tax will have to be added to the sales price.
