From the Top: Transition Bikes
Somewhere around 2005 I was on my way up to Whistler from Olympia with my Yeti ASX. I broke the proprietary derailleur hanger and happened to stop by Transition when they were in Ferndale near the train tracks. Kevin hooked me up with a Yeti rep in Vancouver and saved my trip. I ran into Kevin at the 2014? Crankworx and he glowed about their move to Bellingham from Ferndale and the hopes that their business and others would help revitalize that part of town. Legit dudes. My next bike will be a Patrol.

Stevie Smith - A Tribute - Video
LIke many of the rest of you, I first came to know Stevie in Seasons; a segment about a boy, his bike and and a loving mom that enabled his passion to flourish. I met Stevie once, at Crankworx. It was during our brief interaction that Stevie proved he was every bit of the genuine dude depicted in every video and photo of him, also demonstrated by the tremendous amount of outpouring for his loss.
RIP Stevie. My heart is broken for those close to you, but especially your mother.
