WHAT 2W1L DELIVERS
MOUNTAIN BIKE JAMAICA
All tours are guided by myself or my trained guides. Any trail side repairs or "JRA" events will be handled by 2W1L.
All transport, lodgings, tour arrangements and any challenges we may face will be taken care of by 2W1L immediately upon your landing in Jamaica so you can enjoy your time on the island. Contact our driver from home a week before arrival so your airport pickup will go smoothly. I realize how hard it is just to get away with family and employment commitments so every minute seems precious to me every time I come down. I do have some bikes available for tour rentals but I highly advise boxing up your bike and bringing it down as you will be up using it for almost everything daily as a bike is the perfect vehicle for everything in Jamaica. You will find Jamaicans adore 2wheels and give back 1love. You will be asked to "STUNT IT" or "LIFT UP" and the locals will be expecting action every time as like I said they love bicycles.
WHAT TO DO.............
....enjoy the vibe and turn off the cell and other devices.
......devour as much fruit and veg as you can stand.
........swim & snorkel.......have an evening walk by the wata.
..........bring down old bike parts/tyres/clothes and give them away.
............turn your I-Pod to Radio and tune into IRIE FM
..see a live reggae show and take in the vibe.
....eat Jamaican foods and spices along with the Red Stripes.
.......Bring home Blue Mountain Coffee and trinkets.
..........learn Patois and about the amazing flora, fauna and special vegetation.
WHAT NOT TO DO.........
....Just say no to only wearing lycra, wear shorts please.
.......No public nudity.
...........Drugs are illegal in Jamaica. Even though you will see a spliff in every other mouth and smell ganja everywhere.
you ride, walk, drive.........it is illegal so keep it on the down low. Police spot checks on the roadways are normal activities.
................do not end up in 2 places, ever......a hospital or a police station.
...Try not speaking Jah-faken.
.....Avoid Macca thorns, 40 leggers and firewood.
........I also advise not getting your head beaded and braided no matter how cute she may be.
............DO NOT WEAR CAMO CLOTHING OF ANY KIND AT THE AIRPORT IN JAMAICA.
