Med. Cube Reaction Pro with Bosch CX motor

$3900 CAD
Like new, lightly ridden 2022 Cube Reaction Pro E-Bike, tastefully upgraded with a 120mm Fox 34 Factory Step Cast fork. I purchased this bike from Bow Cycle in December, 2022 and have put 325 km on it - mostly road and paved path riding, plus one trip out to Bragg Creek to ride Bragging Rights and Merlin's View, where it performed quite admirably. This bike is considered an entry level, yet trail worthy, electric mountain bike. There is a lot of value in this machine - the Bosch Performance CX motor is found on many high end trail machines made by Trek, Cannondale, Scott, and Orbea to name a few! Plus the Shimano Deore drivetrain is legitimately trail worthy and even comes with a clutched rear derailleur. If you are looking for a dependable electric trail bike that won't break the bank, then this Cube Reaction Pro may be just what you are looking for. This particular Bosch motor was engineered for mountain bikes and has a few modes that other drive systems simply don't have. The modes include: OFF - no power boost. Economy - boosts your input by approximately 160%. Tour - boosts rider input by approximately 240%. EMTB - this is where things get AWESOME - this mode automatically adjusts between 0, 160, 240, and 360% boost, based on rider input. TURBO - boosts rider input by, you guessed it, 360%. PLUS - it has a "WALK" feature that powers the motor whenever you find yourself in a hike-a-bike situation, which is very helpful since this bike weighs in the 50 pound range. In order to make it a true trail machine, I swapped the stock fork for a Fox 34 Factory Step Cast - 120mm - 51mm offset for 29” Wheels, Kabolt thru axle, FIT-4 damper, 15x110mm Boost and recently rebuilt by Ion2 Suspension. The extra 20mm of suspension really brought this bike to life on dirt, as did adding a dropper post (not included in this sale). I enjoyed my ride out at Bragg Creek so much that I decided to sell the Cube and pick up a Trek Rail because it uses the same Bosch Performance CX motor, and the Trek Active Braking Pivot design is my top choice to ride. I have owned two Remedys and a Session 88, so the Rail seems like the next logical step. The asking price is fairly firm as the bike is in great shape (charged, tuned, cleaned and ready to ride once you bolt on your favorite pedals!), and the MSRP on the Fox fork was $1600 in 2020. If you pay the asking price I will toss in the stock X Fusion fork for free. This bike also comes with a factory kickstand. Rocky Mountain RM6 frame

$160 CAD
2000 / 2001 RM6 frame (not totally sure of the year) - for you history buffs out there, the RM series of bikes were what put Wade Simmons on the map. The RM6 (along with the Kona Stinky) were the first true "all mountain" bikes - they could be pedaled up and ripped down any trail on the planet and they re-defined what lines were possible to ride on a mountain bike. While this frame's glory days are long behind her, she still makes for a great bike for your up-and-coming little ripper! My son rode this bike for 2 years and became a stronger, more confident rider as a result. I built it up with a 1x10 drivetrain and a 140mm RS Psylo fork, and it took my son everywhere he wanted to go. I don't know if the shock has ever been rebuilt, but it worked well enough for my son (110 - 120 pounds at the time). Threaded BB 1 1/8 head tube 9x135mm rear dropout Seatpost included Pivots and Shock Mounts are nice and tight Plenty of nicks and scratches, but no dents, dings, cracks, or major imperfections. Marzocchi Z1 fork will be included if the asking price is paid. It requires a Marzocchi hub and axle (or aftermarket equivalent) to install a front wheel on it. Picture of hub has been provided for reference only, neither the hub or the axle is included with the fork.

45NRTH Dillinger Studded 26x4.0, 27TPI, wire bead

$300 CAD
45 NRTH Dillinger studded fatbike tires 240 Steel Carbide Studs per tire 27 TPI Casing Wire Bead Lightly used, vent spews (rubber "hair" that comes on new tires) are still mostly intact. These tires still have a lot of life remaining. A small bit of surface rust is visible on the studs, but it goes away after a few rides. The price is fairly firm but reasonable offers will be entertained. Low ball offers will be ignored. Have a great day and thanks for looking.

Chromag Rootdown BA 27.5+

$1850 CAD
2016 Rootdown BA 29 / 27.5+ Medium frame in vibrant orange! SR Suntour Radon 650+ fork (lockout, compression (air), external rebound adjuster, magnesium lowers, and aluminum stanchions and steer tube) Sram X5/X9 10x1 drivetrain - 11-36 tooth cassette Raceface Turbine Cranks (PF BB, 26 tooth chainring, cinch) Shimano Deore disk brakes - rotors are 200F, 180R Chromag Bars and Stem ODI Grips Thomson Elite Seatpost Specialized BG saddle Platform Pedals MAXXIS Rekon 27.5x2.8" tires (set up Tubeless) Oreba 27.5+ Wheels (BOOST front and rear) The Chromag Rootdown is a seriously BAD ASS bike. It is currently setup with 27.5+ wheels, but is compatible with 29" wheels and tires as well. The 27.5 + tires have a similar attack profile to 29" wheels but with a larger contact patch to keep things under control when the trail gets nasty. This one comes with a dependable build kit that works great on the trails and for short commutes (just add a bigger chainring to improve gearing for bike path and road use). This bad boy has what it takes to hang with most 6" Enduro rigs, but without the complications associated with a full-sus ride. This is a used bike and shows limited signs of use. Fork stanchions are in great shape. Mechanically the bike is in perfect condition - just throw a leg over her and start pedaling! No nasty dings, chips, or dents. While the price is flexible, I will ignore low-ball offers.

Totally agree with mblar! This was a great perspective piece - the back to back comparison is mind blowing! Thanks for putting this together BCpov!
