ION bike apparel 2014 - a short wrap up
Ambitious water boardsports brand ION launched their first bike apparel collection in 2013.
Now, the 2014 collection arrived at local bike shops in overall 24 countries worldwide.
Time to get a short wrap up of the 100% German engineered collection:
SCRUB & FLARE – Trail/Freeride

The brand new Flare (women) and Scrub (men) series are ION's flagships in advanced technical construction and material choice:
The long sleeve tops combine DriRelease front panels with airy mesh jerseys on back and arms.
The shorts are made of a special 4way-flex fabric, DWR treated, with laser cut details, bonded hems and a fabric-feature mix that make them a functional, robust and light piece of kit.

ROAM & LUZID – The street wear inspired riding collection

The Luzid (women) and Roam (men) lines grew up to 20 different styles for 2014:
Main idea: to combine a caual look with high functionality.
All tops are made of Drirelease fabrics with Freshguard, which have a classic cotton look, but dry four times faster than cotton.
Cargo style shorts and jeans (shorts & pants) are flexy and feature a cycling specific cut for maximum freedom of movement.

The 2014 Slash is a pure gravity riding oriented combo: super airy but still robust mesh jersey long sleeves include a hidden ticket pocket plua a lens cleaning patch.
The matching "Sabotage" pants and shorts made of a robust mix of 4-way-flex and nylon fabric also feature hidden neoprene enforcement's an the outer hip for additional abrasion resistance.
