Did anybody else notice that Sam doesn't have any water on the bike or with him at anytime?! Does someone know how pros hydrate during the races or are they all born camels??!

SRAM Eagle Drivetrain - Review
I don`t think you should be worried at all. On my Specialized Pitch pro (2009) I used to have a 3x9, I removed the front derailleur and since I didn`t want to change my hub, I left it as a 1x9. If your worry is not having enough gears, unless you`re going to do some almost straight up the wall climbs I think you should be okay (where I live it works out very well). To go into more detail, I have found that my biggest cog (36 teeth) has been more efficient on my climbs since there is less turning and more power, but as I said before if you just want to be going at a leisure pace and going up some super steep climbs then you should get ready for a calf and hamstring workout.
P.s I ride a 32 tooth Chainring in front.

The most extreme course in Mont tremblant, I did the drop off at 1:36, its about 5 feet the first is about 6. Its awesome!!!!!!!
If you don't like some stuff they built a check'n'run beside the obstacels. Highley reccomended

Results: 2014 Canada Cup #1 Mont - Tremblant
Awesome race, watched it today . It was sick!!!!!!!!! After some rain we got the trail was so mudy I even got spraid!!! Wish I could compete but to young :( Anyhow this race is awesome . Come next year to experience the thrill!!!!!!!!!
