Five Ten Freerider VXi Shoes - Tested
I have these shoes and absolutely love them. My impacts were simply just too bulky and overkill for my daily rides here in the Pacific NW when not in the bike park. My VXI's are like a super grippy running shoe built for riding. Repositioning is night and day compared to my impacts and I haven't had a problem slipping once. Once the weight is loaded these things grip! Hiking has been fine in this thing, seems similar to my impacts. Overall 9/10

I love how I think going big is dropping a 6ft high rock drop on my DH bike. He's jumping out of the rafters 18ft high with no suspension. Awesome edit

Video: The Guts Behind The Glory - Adam Brayton
Doubt a neck brace would have helped. I'm one month out from a type 3 shoulder separation. His scuffed shoulder looked just like mine. We both impacted the same place it appears. I was wearing my Leatt and the impact that does the damage is the blow to the arm/shoulder. Not the neck/head.
