Welcome to the 2020 Pinkbike Field Test - Cross-Country Bike Edition
@sarahmoore: Curious, what size Epic do you run? I'm 5'7" as well and seems like in between sizes.

Video: Troy Lee Designs Announces New D4 Helmet Details
I just received my Carbon Stealth black. Couple thoughts: Its definitely lighter than my D3 and with the MIPS liner and new vent layout it seems like its going to breath better than the D3. (based entirely on my rigorous standing in the garage test). However, I don't find the mips liner as comfortable as the D3 and it doesn't give you the nice head hug of the D3. Almost feels like a xc lid. The way the carbon was laid creates a HUGE checker board pattern. You really cant tell in the photos just how big it is. This is totally subjective but I liked the D3 pattern better. This feels like you have a checkered flag on you head. Worst of all, where the liner sits on my forehead is all janky. It looks like bad construction. Hard to describe but where the front of the pad was sealed to the back of the pad theres a seam that didn't line up correctly. It has sort of a fold that creates a point that jabs in my forehead. Probably not typical of all the helmets but should never have left the factory like this.

Review: Ohlins’ TTX22M Coil Shock Delivers Grin-Inducing Performance
@bjmtb: Thanks for that. Funny, TFtuned has a lighter spring recommendation than the one I'm currently running. Hopefully Ohlins will update their site soon.

Review: Ohlins’ TTX22M Coil Shock Delivers Grin-Inducing Performance
This seems like as good a place as any to ask as any, does anyone have experience with this shock on a Demo 29? I'm trying to figure out proper spring rate. The S2 frame came with a 365# spring and I can get 30% sag with one turn of the preload ring. However, I have a spring rate chart from Specialized that says I should be on 434# spring for my weight (170lbs with gear). Just wondering where others are on this.
