Grant Fielder was back in the mix and still shredding as hard as ever. great to see Chopper back at a North American event!
Sam Pilgrim is an animal. Backflip off the big drop!
Yannick is a killer. Straight up. He smashed this course all weekend.
Anthony took a couple hard bails on the hitching post but ultimately came back to make it his...
Being the hometown host, there is never a shortage of close friends to hang out with.
Judging by the way Logan Peat rode all weekend...he better get used to this kind of attention!
Semenuk with a man sized 360 off the top drop.
Sam Dueck was rollin out some super slow tailwhips over the hip. Style for miles.
You'd be hard pressed to find two dudes with more experience in slopestyle than these two.
It can't all be bike park laps and wicked gaps.
Tyler McCaul was the only person to tailwhip the hitching post and he made it look easy.
Anthony Messere is on another level. He didn't manage to put together a winning run, but he is so super close.
Aggy had some smooth runs on the day, here he drops one of his signature dump-3's!
Jordy Lunn rode so well all weekend. Wasn't quite able to stomp this 3flip.
The invitational doesn't have shuttles or secret passages for the athletes. They just roll up to the top of the course through the spectators!
These guys had the best seat in the house.
Antoine Bizet ran into a little mechanical failure on the top drop and hit the dirt harder than I've seen anyone crash in a long long time. Unfortunate early exit to finals.
Jordy Lunn hitching post one hander.
Carson Storch rode well all event long but failed to put together all of his tricks in one run...when he does?..he'll be right in the mix.
Andreu, style over the hitching post.
Brandon rode beyond clean and took home 1st place on the event. Nice truck driver off the drop.
Another win for Brandon...
No one is safe from the Tip...
Whiiiiiips...
Claw was no slouch when it came the the whip off.
Cam Zink was representin Hyper in the whip off and doin a damn fine job.
Andreu wasn't runnin the biggest whips during the whip off but he sure was layin out some sick tables.
Two amazing things about this photo. 1) Anthony is a solid 10-12' off of that lip during this flair. 2) The Bicycle Rockers faces.
Without this dude, this weekend would have never gone off like it did. It's cool to see the other riders appreciate the event.
The Claw gets a little thank you from the riders.

If Darren didn't borrow that bike and step in for his buddy at the Rampage all those years ago, our world would not be the same.
Dude has progressed our sport almost more than anyone else.
I see an EASTON stem, is it an EASTON bar?? Hopefully, like it has been said, he did not hit that sharp bar, which would'va been, with the violence of the impact, really really bad!
Would have thought that riders at this level would change bars at events or every other event. The pressures running through the components from drops that size is insane!
Nice to see lots of the big guns out at the Slopestyle.....
Also sweet to have the BC Cup the same weekend, it was nice to be able to observe a bit of both
Nothing about the kid Wallace. The only true am to make the final. 15 and duking it out with the big boys. Nothing crazy but seems to have potential. Pretty solid two runs
I didn't manage to make it up on event day, but went up for the pro qualifying. Got rained out after maybe 6 or 7 riders. Was pretty cool to see the train of the other 10 or so riders bomb the course when they called it. Was also very cool that the riders just walked up through the crowd on their way to the top of the course. As always great work Darren!
awesome event!
