First Look: The $865 Push SV8 Coil Shock
Exactly my thought ! That's why on my Novya there is no external adjustment of the stroke. When I asked, Maxime told me exactly that: "If stroke need to be reduced, I have to put a smaller shaft in it and re-set the Bottom-out/damping setting for the new stroke". Basically without resetting, you change the damping profile of your new stroke (to which extent, I don't know).
As well, as said elsewhere, most issues of frame compatibility come from eye-to-eye length and head type (Standard/trunnion), so in the end you still have to send it back to the factory (Novyparts also offer this kind of service)

Pinkbike Primer: Everything You Need to Know Ahead of the Snowshoe DH World Cup 2023
@gally-nh: Yeah heard the same thing. Apparently, he has not prepared as hard as they would've expected during the off-season, and it's taking its toll in the second part of his season (not saying he is completely at the end of his rope, but lack of fitness leads to lack lucidity, errors or worse... Crashes)
He's learning the hard way, but I'm sure he can overcome it and become stronger. He has the talent (I guess if Jackson crashed so often last year was also because he had to push the limits)

U23 XC World Champ Samara Maxwell Signs with Rockrider Ford Until 2026
Hey, great move from Rockrider ! I guess they are keen on investing on the future, which is a great thing, for both the athletes and the brand !
I'm discovering this young lady but she seems to have a great energy and a big smile on her face !

First Ride: Merida One-Sixty FR
Hey Merida, wiring through the headset might be the complete opposite concept of what a freeride bike should be (In fact completely external routing might be the right choice for this segment). You're talking to park rats and other guys/gals sending hard, falling and usually making their own maintenance on the bike (or to rental fleets, but the issue is the same).
For racers why not (well I disagree but let's imagine they don't care), but that's a complete non sense for the target of this bike...
This thing really needs to die in a short and painful way, and other brands already begun to understand that it was leading them to nowhere

Tech Randoms: Les Gets XC World Cup 2023
The team has come alive this year, but Decathlon/Rockrider/B'twin have been on the circuit few years back (early 2000s I think ?)
I also think that Ford is a late addition to the sponsors' list, but it's cool to see a big player involved on an XC team !

Review: Racer Gloves & Joint Protection
I might be the only one but I have those and they are the most durable I have ever worn (tried 661, TLD, RaceFace, 100%, Fox). For me the real deal on these gloves is the leather for the palm. It's so grippy and comfortable, it feels really like (sorry for the usual commercial b@llshit sentence) a second skin. I've fallen on them, wear them for like 2 years now and still they are in perfect condition. They have not stretched and the sizing did match what I was usually wearing. Just be careful as it's leather, you can not just put them on the washing machine.
*Edit: I totally agree with the pricing and managed to get them with a significant discount

Pinkbike Primer: Everything You Need to Know Ahead of the Andorra DH World Cup 2023
Yeah I was wondering also. I don't know to which extent the map is accurate regarding the track, but it looks like it finishes more with a straight line. I guess they might have listened to the riders and adapt the final part of the track ! Let's hope so !
