Round Up: 17 Bike Industry Jobs Available Right Now
@rich-2000: Err not quit like that. I mean I know a rough estimate of what is the salary for the job I apply for (depending on the company, the position ...). + I know what my current situation is and the raise I want (depending on responsabilities of the job, my experience ...). But in the end to refine it and to propose a relevant salary expectation during the interview, the best is to know someone working in the company, or to find some information on the web. I agree, it is not the easiest or the most robust way, but it is what it is.

Is it common to display the salary (or at least a range) on the other side of the channel ? In France you very rarely see anything related to the salary. The proper discussions on it generally occurs at the 2nd or 3rd interview. It's very interesting to see how these kind of topics are discussed/managed abroad !

@bananowy: And add to that the fact that it's not that bad that they are manicuring a bit their biggest features. I mean it's mainly a safety reason, they would die or badly hurt themselves landing the biggest features on raw terrain, because indeed as you said, they are bigger than by the past.

Trek Finds Carbon Frames Produce Nearly 3 Times the CO2 of Alloy in its First Sustainability Report
@ceecee: Wow wow wow you're digging too much man. To answer Vinay: The SI units are defined on consistent standards, not abritrary contructs, they use base 10 so way easier to use, 1 SI unit derives from others without any kind of conversion factor ... we can go on all day long on this, but that is not the subject. SI units are just LOGICAL and used by 95% of the population on earth... but hey, maybe I am wrong...

Trek Finds Carbon Frames Produce Nearly 3 Times the CO2 of Alloy in its First Sustainability Report
@vinay: This has nothing to do with the language. It is not because the imperial system is in a foreign language, it is because it is just utter sh@t measurement system from an engineering point of view...
