Marzocchi Bomber Z1 27.5” 180mm

$200 GBP
Z1 Bombers in good condition. Stanchions are perfect, some small nicks to the lowers and decals to be expected but nothing major, slight cable rub at crown. No leaks or creaks. 1 1/8” to 1 1/2” tapered steerer at 200mm long. 180mm travel, 27.5” wheel. PM180 brake mount, threads are fine. 15x110 axle, nothing stripped out. Grip damper with rebound and compression. The compression adjuster works from full open to lock out which is handy. Very plush fork, always worked flawlessly.

WTB KOM Trail i30 wheels 29”

$150 GBP
WTB wheels removed from a 1 ride old Vitus Sommet. Vitus hubs, 15x110 boost front and 12x148 boost rear, with Microspline freehub. Both use 6 bolt rotors, all threads are 100% and bearings are perfect. Some small barely noticeable stone chips present, but overall in very good condition. Run true, no mechanical damage whatsoever. Only thing is the front rim is missing a sticker! Rim tape fitted.

DT Swiss EX471 wheelset 27.5” 650B

$300 GBP
27.5” complete wheelset in good condition, holds air, no bends, dents, flat spots or buckles. Some small scrapes as to be expected from a used enduro wheelset, i have pictured the worst looking scrapes but in good shape overall. Front hub bearings are smooth. Rear hub bearings aren’t just as smooth as they were but would have a bit of life left yet, there is no play or rattles. Freehub bearings are smooth. Hope Pro 4 front hub, adapters for both 15x100 and 15x110. Hope Pro 2 Evo rear hub, adapters for both 12x142 and 12x148. Normal HG freehub body. Both take 6 bolt rotors. Threads are fine. There is one boost spacer for the brake disc, can’t find the other sadly. Maxxis Minion DHF and DHR tyres, the front tyre has seen only a handful of rides, the rear has been ridden once or twice and is effectively as new. Nukeproof ARD fitted not long ago with fresh Stans sealer. Nukeproof presta valves. Great wheels, only selling as i have went onto a 29er.

Opinion: The Pace of Change in the MTB World is Slowing Down, and I'm All For It
Spherical eyelet bushings should have been adopted and made mainstream long ago.

Kona Stinky Frame

$150 GBP
2003 Stinky in size small. I believe these have 6” travel, has a Fox Van R coil shock. 135mm quick release rear hub size. BBB seatpost there for it and a clamp. Hussefelt cranks. Bearings spin fine and don’t have play. No cracks on chainstay/swingarm. No cracks on front triangle. Shock works ok. Headset fitted to it, unsure of its quality. 1-1/8” forks only. I bought this as a full bike for some of the parts on it and it’s way too small for me, otherwise I would have refurbished it! It’s not the worst by any means but I didn’t want to list this as “parts or not working” as it was being used perfectly well until now, however it will need some work to make a nice clean bike out of it. I noticed a very small crack starting to form on the lower bushing clamp on the seat stay, it was professionally welded and given a quick spray black to take the rawed metal look away. Being 7005 aluminium, it doesn’t require extensive heat treatment and ageing is suitable enough to retain most of the strength back. I would have no worries about it after this repair. This can be seen in the close up photo. Being 19 years old it has its fair share of chips, cable rub and nicks but there’s no big dents or anything that will seriously affect it’s strength. The bearings don’t have any wobble, but the rocker link feels a bit gritty, I would recommend changing the bearings before they develop play. The shock bushings will need replacement. This would make a cool wee retro bike for someone if it was powdercoated and had new decals. Offers! Collection preferred in Co. Down or i can post it UK only.
