it looks to me that the gap between the shell and the adapter is defo too large. Did you try to remove it and get it screwed on again? Please find a vid from sunrace on application of this adapter to a wheel. https://youtu.be/X8dziyBXSmc

Hi bud, I can see you are using the xd adapter for the freehub. Did you get it separately or did this come with a sunrace cassette you are trying to fit? I've messaged sunrace looking for some answers, but they're not responding. This looks like a proper hassle. Did you consider swapping a freehub body to a hg one just so it is compatible with shimano/ hg style sram products? Cheers, Richie
