Oct 22, 2022Specialized Rumor Expert size S
$2500 CADPicked up this bike new in 2017 and found out our first baby was expected about two days later. It really hasn’t been ridden much and never in anger. Changed the tires, bars and grips from stock. Brakes were bled, the chain was changed and the fork was serviced in June 2022, then the bike was upgraded to something with slightly more travel. The small frame has lots of standover and likely will fit anyone between 4’10” and 5’4”. Let me know if you have any questions.
Component highlights:
Fork: 130mm Rockshox Pike RC
Shock: Fox Float Factory CTD (125mm travel)
Brakes: Shimano XT M785
Drivetrain: SRAM X1/X01 11s; carbon cranks
Post: Command Post (75mm drop)
Wheels: Roval Traverse (DT star ratchet hubs I believe)

First Look: 2022 Rocky Mountain Element - When XC Gets Aggro
They removed some commentary on adding a higher rise bar as well. Seemed like a fine idea to me but maybe that was too much of a fit issue to mention in the first look.
The geo table looks closer now. Reach and stack shouldn’t both be getting bigger as the head angle increases across the adjustment range, but really the slackest setting is the only one that anyone looks at anyway.

First Look: 2022 Rocky Mountain Element - When XC Gets Aggro
@KennyWatson: I get closer to 630 in the steep setting, but either way it’s off by an inch! I wonder what’s going on here…

$3500 CADI’ve got a new hardtail on order so I thought I’d list this now to see if there’s interest. Always has been a second bike so it doesn’t have much time on it. Probably 500km on the frame and 250km on the drivetrain and wheels. It’s not a huge bike for an XL.
