Feb 9, 2015Giant Reign X1
$1000 USDWill sell frame and shock only for $500. Other parts can be negotiated if frame sells.
I am selling my Reign X1 as I do not do much AM riding and have another rig that I use for downhill / freeride although this bike is a blast for that too and has proven it can take it. The bike has barely been ridden as can be seen from minimal cable rub and only a few minor scratches. Absolutely no dents and the wheels are true. I am also willing to trade for a slopestyle/4x short travel bike. Ideally a Banshee Rampant as that is more apt to the riding I prefer. Trades could involve cash if needed, I also have a hard tail DJ bike that could somehow get worked in as that one is next on the list to go if I can get my hands on a Rampant.
It has been well maintained having a drive train rebuild in the last year as well as the shock with not much riding since. Since I had it in the shop to be inspected anyway, the fork was just serviced and has not been ridden since. The old bushings/seals were fine so I have them as well as the owners manual and another spring for the shock. Everything works great and I really love how light and spry and this bike is. It handles rock gardens even better than my DH rig.
As mentioned, it is a medium. I am 5'8"ish and it fits me very well. I do like a slightly wider stance so I put some wide Atomlab Pimplite bars on there (super nice bars!) and a shorter stem to compensate for the difference in reach and steering. I do have the original bars and stem which I would be very happy to sell it with instead if you prefer.
