In October last year, Tito finally made the trip to Nepal, after many years of waiting. After visiting a few countries with his bike, he eventually made it. But also after the earthquakes. It was actually a pretty rough period when the crew made the trip there, the country was still reconstructing a lot but Nepal was also facing a fuel crisis.
It's for those reasons that Tito has chosen Nepal for his first episode. Produced by Mavic, it was obvious for both that Nepal needs help and so a nice video could drive some attention and maybe help the tourists to get back in this awesome country.
Quest is a series about the search we all do, for the best trail, the nicest landscape, the perfect moment, the perfect experience, ... Tito is just pushing a bit harder, living the dream and travelling for many years now. With this series he can make the most of it, going there with a film crew it allows the nicest images possible in those conditions. For the series the crew has signed a crazy deal with the artist mountain biker, go far, go high and go deep!
In Nepal the crew was travelling for two weeks, walking ten days in the Langtang National park. Two porters were helping them to carry the filming and photography gear, hopefully! A rough trip but worth it. The result is beautiful and all the dimensions in such a trip are developed. Through the riding, the meetings, and the whole experience. Tito is proud to offer his vision of mountain biking, but maybe it goes a bit deeper. Because we don't always ride bikes because of biking, this is a vision of the world and a vision of life.
Tito is planning to get back to Nepal in October and offer them the donations he is collecting, hoping for the generosity. For a country that has given so much for outdoor sports, he has created the association
Vive La Vie with his wife. Thanks
@mavic for the support and help.
