Hi Tsunemasa, I'm a journalist with the CBC. We're doing an hour long documentary on Sam Brown for CBC the fifth estate. I was struck by your comments and wondered if you'd talk to me more about your comments. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Best to email me at andrew.culbert@cbc.ca

Sam Brown R.I.P.
Sam was an intelligent, kind and respectful young man. Sam made some pretty poor choices and was also facing indictment in US Federal Court for distribution of hundreds of thousands of MDMA pills and smuggling several dozen kilograms of cocaine into Canada from the United States. The DEA did not entrap Sam. Sam was on a regularly scheduled flight between the US and Canada where MJ and MDMA would be smuggled in and cocaine would be smuggled out. I don not think Sam was a coward; he just could not see any light at the end of the tunnel. My heart goes out to Sam, his family and friends. Sam and his family have certainly been in my prayers. The real coward is Colin Martin, the owner of the helicopter Sam was flying. He is a ten year fugitive in the US for drug smuggling. Colin, you want to make things right? Stop pretending (lying) Sam stole your helicopter and turn yourself in to the authorities in the US and face the music. Unfortunately like most cowards, Mr. Martin will most likely wash his hands of Sam and find someone else to make him money. RIP Sam.
