Three years ago Sylas Linnemann moved to Issaquah, a suburb 30 minutes east of Seattle. He was introduced to the endless supply of trails, which slope down many of the mountains blanketing the landscape. Getting involved in the local bike community has really allowed him to push himself, develop his skills, and improve as a rider. It only goes uphill from here! Enjoy as he shares his story.

bigquotesThe goal is to have fun, get better, and just ride my bike. I'm looking forward to next season!

Agreed. I am trying to get my 13yr old brother in to it so i gave him my fist decent bike (1998 Specialized FSR). I then faced the harsh reality that he will quickly outgrow the bike's capabilities and will need a new bike. Being a college student its super hard to afford a decent bike... let alone support someone else.
If decent bikes were cheaper more kids would get into it. You either have to have parents who can buy you stuff or you being old enough to work.
Make bikes more affordable for the average joe and more kids will join. Simple.

We see Sylas at the races and on the trails. On top of being a great rider he is a true ambassador of the sport. He is always positive and encouraging to other riders helping them having fun and improve.

Great role model and ambassador for the sport. Always great to see this type of character out there. Keep it up. Was just at duthie today even though it rained. Can't let a bit of PNW weather from keeping me indoors.

Love it when he says "kids from 3 to..50's" We are all kids when we get on a bike. Life is too short, get out and play! awesome video. Nothing better than riding in the PNW.
