Use the trash bmx. It's simple and strong. Suspension forks don't like the cold so rigid is best anyways.

This is how I made it. I got a old bmx. I then heated and bent the fork legs and the rear triangle out so that skate board trucks turned upside-down would fit in the drop outs. I then bolted the cut snowboard to the skateboard trucks. Put a foot long aluminum pipe in the bb for my feet, and was ready to ride.

Next season I will... Landing drops and jumps takes a bit of getting used to on a SnowBike.

How did you attach the board to the skateboard trucks? Like did you drill throught the bottom of the board?

I just positioned the skateboard truck's in place and marked off where the drill holes were. Then drilled 4 screws in the holes. Then attached the bike and bolted it all together. Simple and effective.

I tried a few times. The lip of the snow drift breaks away every time I hit it and the skis are so wide it's tough to carve into it. I will need to hop into it and the bike is around 40 pounds not including the snow that builds up on top of the skies. I plan to keep trying.
