I'm polite for sure, but I'm not gonna just let anybody by...haha.. The uphill on the North side of Mt. Tom was the end of me. 4 months off has kicked my ass for sure...I'll be back!

Yeah that is brutal, it is pretty brisk around here too, spent most of my day off helping friends with car troubles.... Hopefully you'll have a short winter, or at least have the trails packed by snowmobiles and you can run some studs....but going big or fast is going to have to be put on pause for a while..

the biggest and baddest trail I'll see this winter will be my basement on the trainer, haha....and I sold my trail bike last spring, snif snif...

getting rid of the trail and riding only DH in the last year really played on my overall fitness...that's why I got the new road bike....I'm not planning to buy another trail until I really get tired of DH....maybe in a few years...I'm really excited to get back to training rides in a group and I know the endurance factor will be great for the big bike too !!!

The road will def. help the DH !! I don't care much for the "typical" roadie mentality of trying to crush everyone that shows up....but I have the luxury of respect from the old shop days...so If I show up...the cat 1 boys give me the nod and I usually tell them to put the hammer down and I hang back with the cat 3-4 crew.... no time to train like I used to over the last 10 years of full time work and college....Didn't realize the Cdale was new...thought you just had pics !! SWEET ride bro !!

When I sold my DH bike and went back to trail riding I thought I made a huge mistake.I just couldnt ride up a hill hahaha.I was getting thrown around a bit too.Now 7 months on I wouldnt go back to DH (mainly coz i cant afford one hahaha) and now love the climb just as much as the downs...But words cant describe the feeling of a nice flat and winding single track where you have to mash your way to speed and hang on for all shit to stay on.....Best MTB buzz i get.

I'll be happy just to hang on the back wheel of some of those cat3/4 comes spring time but I know that after 10-12 rides I should get back up to speed...road rides around here mostly consist of 25-55 yo that are more into centuries than real training runs....ya, thanks bro, it's brand new from almost 2 weeks ago but I just put her together and took some pics...I Love It....the frame is so smooth and slipstreamed, the new second tier Ultegra is pretty sweet...much room for improvement on the wheelset...they are heavy but strong and stiff enough, from the reviews I read...but I'm oldschool and like to give my own verdict after trying it, haha...

67*C difference !!!...I'm sure we can do better, lol....on my part, I could EASILY hit -40*C with wind/factor and pretty sure you will hit 40*C....that would make an 80*C difference, only 20*C off the 100*C boiling point !!!!...crazy shit bro, haha...but right now, it's only -8*C with a light snowfall and it's frickin' sweet...getting ready to go skiing this weekend !!!!...the funny part is, me and J. are only a few hours apart...

Well with our tropical storms every night the mornings are great but mid day to about 4pm is bloody hot.I really love the just before dark rides here.Snakes are gone by then and the trails are so sweet and loose from the days sun drying.
