Helvellyn for Sunrise
We wanted to see the sunrise from the top of Helvellyn. Its was a great idea, the weather forecast was good.

We were not disappointed, 8 of us made the effort, a 4:30am alarm was well worth it. It took me 1hr 45mins to the top with plenty of stopping to admire the sunrise. We got first light about 1/3rd of the way up and the lights got turned off at half way. Was an epic thing to do, lucky with the weather but you have to roll the dice sometimes - could easily have been misty.
We came back down sticks, a nice descent that doesn't feature in the video, mainly as I was chainless on the way back down...
The last few mins of the vid are a slideshow of some of the pictures taken by others on the ride - thanks for the contributions guys.
