thats extremely stylish ridding. you are ripping for a bike with elixir 3 brakes. and props for hitting stuff I wouldn't hit on a bike that costs half of mine.

*edit* sorry. not a fan of the song though. throw some led zeppelin or old school rock in there.

Thanks man! I throw some rock in my next one Smile

Nothing wrong with the quality of Airborne bikes. They are starting off just like another highend brand that started out with great bikes at cheap prices. That other brand is known as Transition but now Transition joined the brandwagon and are too damn expensive.

how do you like the toxin ?

For the price, I am really impressed! It is a super playful/flickable bike and rides well. It is a little low spec, but for the price you have room to really build it how you want. I rode it completely stock at Whistler and was able to ride anything I wanted. I'm looking at upgrading the suspension and brakes as I think that would make the biggest difference on the bike. But, it rides great stock as well! I think that Airborne really hit it out of the park with this bike especially for the $1750 price tag!

frameset is only 899$ so its really interesting to make a great build out of it.
  • + 3
Ya, it would be cool to build it from the frameset. This guy has a pretty sweet build: m.vitalmtb.com/community/FuzionTheAce,17886/setup,26020

Awesome video man! Just a question though... The PB review of this brought up the suspension a few times and the brakes. I know brakes wouldn't be an issue as upgrades aren't a worry. But as to suspension, how would higher end suspension fare on this bike? The PB article said it was lacking. Is that the pivot system of the fork and shocks? Would better forks and shocks make it handle through the rough? Also, how well does it peddle? Awesome video!

I ended up putting a RockShox Totem Solo Air on the front and a Vivid Air on the back and it made a huge difference. Because of how the suspension is set up it makes for more of a poppy/playful feel than a full on dh bike which I enjoyed. It wont soak it up quite as well but I will still get the job done. As far as pedaling its not a xc bike but it's not terrible either! I used it to pedal to the top of quite a few of my local trails. Hope that helps!

After much research & deliberation I bought an Airborne Wingman. I love it & couldn't be happier. I hope they stay internet sales only. That is why the bikes are so reasonably priced. That & the fact that their parent company (Huffy) is huge.

Trebeol excellent vid! Im buddies with all the guys over at Airborne. the bike kills anything in the pricepoint and the frame is a rock solid platform to build from. super impressed! well done man!

Can someone tell me how to upload good quality vids on PB? cs this is a GoPro vid.. right? i upload a video and it looks bad, and was recorded with a GoPro Hero 3+ Black.... help pls, DOPE vid btw

If you're putting it together in a video editing program make sure to export it in the highest quality. Depending on your program this might take some trial and error or you should try looking it up online. When you're recording make sure that the lens is always clean and to record in high resolution. My favorite is 1080 Superview in 48 or 60 FPS. Hope any of that helps! Smile

Yo man i love the edit and am seriously considering an airborne toxin. i currently have the airborne wingman but need a fr do you like the toxin?

Ya, it's great! You can't beat the price! Super playful bike that is at home on the flow trails. It handles well on the tech as well, but I would suggest getting the motion control damper for the Domain fork (costs like $60). It comes with the Domain R which only has rebound adjustment, and lacks any compression adjustment. Same with the rear shock, the Kage R. (I definitely noticed it more in the fork though) It still rides great stock though and for the price you can upgrade whatever seems fit! Rode it 3 days at Whistler completely stock. I'm looking at getting the Motion Control and maybe a Vivid Air rear shock. The brakes aren't going to be as nice as something like Saints, but they did what the were intended for. Great bike, get one! Smile

get a cane creek double barrel air, i got that for my entourage and this shock is amazing.
  • + 1
 great video! whistler is amazing.

trebeol, is it possible to upgrade the Kage R like you can with the Domain R fork with motion control, or do you just have to get a whole new rear shock?
  • + 1
Thanks! I'm pretty sure that you can't upgrade it. Probably the best option is to sell it and use the money towards something different. Although, it doesn't ride that bad for the price of the shock. One of the biggest reasons I'm changing mine is to shave some weight.

I ride Airborne too and all I can say is 'Value for Money'. I can't find any other company currently that offers so much of it.

how about young talent industries? Wink

 super good riding dude
  • + 2
 thanks man!
  • + 2
how did you get the chesty set up so well?
  • + 1
I use the superview mode on the 3+ black and then just make sure it's strapped on real tight. Get it as tight as you can with it still being comfortable and it won't shake as much.

Nice drop off of Dwayne Johnson.
How do like the new entrance to Dirt Merchant?

It's pretty sweet! Has nice flow to it
