Ok. I have ridden my Enduro bike and beaten friends on DH bikes but I guess it was the lay week of the Buller summer season and everything was washed out and blown out.

I reckon and AM bike would be a bit faster

Yeah some people ran Enduro bikes but towards the bottom of the track it actually gets rougher than it looks. DH bikes were the better option.
