First Ride: 2025 Orbea Rise LT - More Torque, More Travel
@thekaiser: Thanks for the response. I guess it is just one of the downsides you have to accept with ebikes. I raced motocross for a number of years. There was, and I assume still is, no warranty. The second you loaded that new bike into your track it was all on you.

I don’t understand the constant bitching about Shimano motors. I’ve owned 3 and not had a single problem. I ride steep natural trails and bike park blue and black trails for context. My brother has an original decoy that is now going on 5 years whithout a single problem. Friends who have brose and bosch motors have had multiple motor failures. One of my riding group bought a bosch equipped bike last year and the motor dumped in the first month. Maybe I’ve just been really lucky. What are the failures you’all are having with Shimano motors?

How Tight? Examining the UCI's Clothing Rules for DH Racing
Being that I am an aging (non-racist) boomer who has to deal with the nonsense of an HOA, I will say you nailed it!

Amer Sports Sells ENVE to Utah-Based Private Investment Firm
This is a complicated issue. My wife and I just sold our company that we put endless hours into, as well as nearly all of our capitol. We had many good years and memories with great people (as well as the inevitable ***holes in life). We are not greedy bastards. When the economy tanked we stopped drawing a salary in order to keep the employees paid in full. As our last name is not Walton, this was not sustainable for ever and we needed to sell. We vetted multiple buyers in order to find the best possible opportunity for our employees and the long term growth of the company. We hope it works out, but there are no guarantees unfortunately. Selling a company you very much care for is not as simple as most think. It is a long and exhausting process.

They do. Specialized and Ari. I believe some of the other brands do as well. They are always kind of expensive though, unless you have all the components already.
