2011 Trek Session 88 in medium.
I have had this bike since new, it is a sensation to ride, easily dialed in super-light and mega fast over anything you throw at it, gutted to be getting rid of it!
The bike has seen 9 months use and has been cared for with no expense spared, washed, oiled and checked after every ride. The bike hasn't has many changes as it is pretty much spot on out of the box. However, the fork stanchions have been upgraded to a Kashima coat, this makes the world of difference to the performance and they look trick! The bars were upgraded to NukeProof Warhead 760mm wide, 20mm rise and are still in an original un-cut state with a pair of ODI ruffian grips locked on the ends. I have also changed the chain device from the flimsy MRP is comes with standard, to a Gamut. I upgraded this two weeks after buying the bike and it is solid as a rock and has never gone wrong.
Despite this bike feeling immaculate to ride, there is some cosmetic damage. The most substantial damage being that to the bottom of the downtube after coming into contact with a rock. The damage however is only cosmetic and was actually inflicted shortly after purchase and it hasn't got any worse, and doesn't in any way effect the performance. Infact, the dent can even be covered by a new armour plate which is available as an after-market accessory. The fork stanchions have a small scratch in them from transportation, the scratch is that minor that there are no sharp edges to even damage the seal and they are in absolutely perfect working order. Barr that, the bike is a downhill bike and has the expected few scratches but nothing else worth even mentioning.
The size is perfect for riders from about 5ft7" - 6ft1"
