Review: Orange Switch 7 - A Clashing of Worlds
Lots of hate going on - I don’t usually comment but feel 90% of you are missing the point. Every brand does things a little differently, UK manufacture is not cheap and yes looks ‘expensive’ comparably but that word is also subjective. Orange have had troubled times but so has the whole industry, let’s be thankful they’re still here with staff still employed. The bikes themselves are ahead of the curve with the numbers, single pivot is ‘old’ but it’s well tested and refined.. what makes it not so great when on the brakes is what makes it better when off them so stop using them or use them properly.. Support and warranty, not every day you’re pretty much a phone call from design, Orange have been responsive in delivering what riders want whilst remaining true to their heritage too and sticking to what they’re damn good at. Oh, and which brand was the first to launch the new Bosch SX motor… that would be Orange. Anyway, if you don’t like it then don’t buy it, enjoy your Santa Ford.

Gas Gas ECC5 M/L with Hope upgrades

$4250 GBP
Gas Gas ECC 5 2024 E-Bike, size M/L. Purchased new in Feb 2024 from the local dealer, I have only ridden the bike 4 times due to time and other commitments, namely a house project! The bike has Invisiframe fitted from new and is in fantastic condition with the only obvious wear being on the crank arms, which is unavoidable! I upgraded the wheels and brakes to the new Hope Pro5 hubs on Fortus 30’s from new, and the new Tech 4 V4 brakes so some serious stopping power. Renthal bars and stem too! With the upgrades, the bike rides better than new and shreds. Selling due to time and also funds for said house project… I’m 6ft and the bike is spot on sizing. Any questions, please shout me.

Fox Float 34 FIT CTD Kashima 650B 27.5" Forks With Tapered S

$480 GBP
Hi there, Up for grabs is this 5 month old pair of 150mm travel Fox Float 34 forks, to fit a 27.5"/650B wheeled bike. These are the top end 2014 Fox 34 forks with FIT internals and they work superbly! There is a great amount of adjustment from the CTD lever with trail mode offering 3 settings to tailor how stiff or soft you like your ride, as well as the air and rebound adjustments. As you can see, these forks are in great condition with the only cosmetic marks being that on the crown from very slight cable rub and a tiny cable rub mark just above the hose guide which is almost hidden when a brake is fitted. Please note that these forks have a tapered steerer and are to fit 15mm front axles. The steerer tube length is a generous 21cm which I am sure will fit almost all bikes as I ride with quite a high front end. Any questions, please feel free to drop me a message, cheers.
