2011 PRICE DROP GREAT DEAL GREAT BIKE scott voltage fr30small

hi there, i am selling my awesome voltage fr, this was a hard choice to make as i love it to bits but unfortunately im getting pretty serious about racing dh and i cannot afford to get a new bike and keep this one. this bike is a great piece of kit and mechanically is in brilliant condition, having just had a complete bearing and cable overhaul (bar the front wheel which has a small amount of play in it) it has just received a brand new chain and rear cassette as well. it also has a few month old sram x7 rear derailer and some sweet shimano SLX m666 ice-tec brakes which stop you dead, along with odi ruffian lock on grips. Apart from that it is all stock, the only reason i haven't upgraded anything else is because it doesn't need it! unfortunately it has been well used so comes with the usual scratches and some cable rub, there is one small dent on the inside of the left right seatstay from a snapped off derailer and the forks are marked from uplifts, all of this is purely aesthetic and does not affect the working of the frame. the cover for the gear indicator has also come off but you barely even notice this anyway.

The bike is a great all rounder, the short but slack frame gives you the confidence to push your limits but will also let you style it up in the bike park. i have also been pleasantly surprised with its climbing ability, sure its no xc whippet but it'll get you up the hill without a fuss. this bike really shines on the downhill though, from boosting massive jumps to shredding gnarly rock gardens. i've taken this for laps at spooky woods at glentress and raced SDA's ,its really that versatile! if your wanting to get into dh and freeride or just want a great bike you can have fun on then this is the bike for you.
