For sale is my 2013 trek slash 8 size 19.5 (Large, im a little over 6'1" and technically the bike might be a bit small for me). If youre looking for a do-anything aggressive mountain bike/ light freeride bike with 26" wheels, this could just be your next ride. pedals great and downhills like a champ. ive ridden the bike for the last year and a half or so, and it does show signs of wear (scratches, chain slap, cable rub, etc. cosmetic damage only), but it rides great and is setup for the rider that can really push a bike like this to its potential. the bike has been changed quite a bit from stock so please read the complete description. anything not specified has remained stock.

front wheel-upgraded to bontrager rhythm comp
front tire- continental trail king 2.4" set up tubeless. front tire is relatively new and in pretty good shape
back wheel-upgraded to mavic crossmax sx
back tire- maxxis cross mark 2.25" set up tubeless. back tire is pretty worn but i have another i can give you that only has 2-3 rides on it (tire usually goes for $70 at the lbs)
fork- fox 34 talas CTD 160/130mm UPGRADED TO KASHIMA coated uppers. fork has been serviced regularly and is in great shape
stem-upgraded to raceface atlas 50mm in blue. i like my bikes with a short stem, and i gotta say the blue one looks pretty badass on there, especially with the blue clamps on the lock on grips
handlebars-stock bontrager 750mm
seatpost- bike is pictured with a ks post (i wanted a 150mm dropped because like i said, im too tall for this bike) but the bike will come with the stock rockshox reverb stealth 125mm, still works great
saddle is a bit torn up, but still rides fine.
brakes-avid elixr 9 trail/x9trail four piston
rear shock- fox float w/ DRCV CTD, love this shock, does great taming the small stuff and is not afraid of big hits. rear wheel travel on the bike is 160mm
DRIVETRAIN
-sram x9 cranks are stock, everything else has been changed. the bike has been converted to a 1x10, so no front shifter/derailleur
cassette- shimano xt
chain-shimano xt
rear derailleur- shimano xt
rear shifter- shimano zee
front chainring- renthal 33 tooth single ring with bash guard and chainguide
PEDALS NOT INCLUDED

ALL rear suspension pivot bearings were replaced a few weeks ago.

any other questions, feel free to ask. also if you want more/better pictures im happy to oblige. i prefer to meet to sell the bike, but i am willing to ship. price is negotiable, but keep in mind almost every part on this bike has been upgraded.
