YEEEEAH BUDDY! Did you need a new bike but don't have a lot of spare cash? Look no further my friends, here lies your new steed...

This bike is BRAND NEW. It's a 2014 I bought on sale - Retail is $1499. I paid $1199 for it in the fall. Plan was to have it as a sweet winter bike, and save the wear and tear on the dually. Well, plans change...needed to move, happened into buying a house somehow, had my dog get sick. You know, life happens. What all this means for YOU is that I bought a brand new bike last fall that has done nothing but sit in my basement/garage the past 6 months. I'm at the new house now and it's time to downsize the fleet a bit - so I'm willing to take a hit on it and pay it forward to someone else who might be looking for a good deal on a solid bike.

As it sits right now, I had them bead up some Hans Dampfs for better wet traction, and I had them toss on a low-rise bar to replace that wrist breaker that it came spec'd with. Other than that, bike is stock. Fancy yourself a flat bar kind of guy or gal? I GOT YOU COVERED.. because I'll ship the bike with that second stock bar free of charge. Also, I will give you a choice of tires--the Nobby Nics that are spec'd on the bike were taken off and put into a box upon purchase of the bike. They are 100% unridden and never mounted -OR- you can have the Hans Dampfs that are currently on the bike, you specify. The Hans Dampfs have about 20 miles on them (2 rides) and they came from a different bike. They are still "almost new" in my opinion, no signs of lug wear, etc. Tires are currently set up tubeless.
You can read more about the bike at the above link, if you have any questions feel free to ask. Fork is a 15mm thru-axle, dropouts are singlespeed right now, but Salsa makes different dropouts if you would prefer to run the bike with gears. Sitting on this thing the geometry feels absolutely awesome! Feels like it would be quick on the trail, but still slack enough to have some fun when you point it down. I'm 5'10" and the 17" feels pretty good to me. Someone pick this thing up and give it some trail time already!
