Get ready for the 2016 racing season.
A 2012 Vertex 970, purchased as a season clearout, so ridden 2013 to 2015. Stock except for handlebar, saddle and front rim. Very fast bike that handles like a 26. Great for someone you is planning on racing or just wants an efficient bike. Climbs like crazy. I'm a bike mechanic that also build's bikes.
2015 models are clearing out at $3500, that's $1600 in savings.
Frame: Carbon frame, 12x142 rear axle, internal cable routing, tapered headset. One rub mark from transportation shown in the picture with the Rocky Mountain sticker.
Fork: Reba SL 100mm, 15 mm through axle.
Brakes: Formula R1X with nukeproof pads
Drive train: X9 shifters, rear derailleur and X7 front derailleur, SRAM 1070 cassette,X9 crank with BB92, 2x10.
Wheels: DT swiss 350 hubs, DT swiss 470 rear rim, WTB I Frequency 23 team front rim, tubeless ready.
Tire: Maxxis Ikon, barely ridden
Cockpit: Easton 90 mm stem, Raceface Evolve bar, Raceface lock on grips.
Saddle: WTB Rocket, hollow rails, Easton seatpost.
Will entertain trades for a full suspension 29er. Frame or complete bike.
