This gear is a solid component foundation for a reliable 9 speed build. I had all of these components together on my previous bike, and they work in concert. Plus you save big and get a bunch of extra gear that will come in handy for any build you may want to do.

Mavic CXP-22 w/ 105 5700 Rear Hub, 32 Spoke/3-Cross Wheel, 700c - $120
This is a smooth rolling, yet strong wheel for roadies and city riders alike. Mavic’s workhorse CXP-22 rim with 32 spokes in a 3-cross pattern (drive side) make for a strong wheel. Laced to a Shimano 105 (5700) hub, the wheel rolls smoothly and easily. Unlike some other hubs, the 105 hub is a cup and cone style that can be cleaned and serviced. This will give the wheel a long service life. The wheel has approximately 3000km on it, but is almost brand new. Braking surface is hardly worn, and the rim runs true within 1 mm. Comes with a 9 speed Tiagra CS-HG50-9 cassette, which still has life left in it. Comes with rim tape and quick release skewer.


Shimano Tiagra ST-4503 9 Speed STI shifters (Triple) - $95
These work perfectly, have a smooth action, only some small scratches on the front. Hood rubber has been cleaned.


Shimano Tiagra FD-4503 Front Derailleur (Triple, Braze On) - $25
Great condition, no flaws.


Shimano 105 5600 Rear Derailleur - $45
Great condition.


FSA Omega Crankset (Triple - 50/39/39, 19mm spindle diameter) - $45
The teeth have wear, but crankset is still within its useable life. *** The picture shows a yellow spot near the crank arm - this is just the reflection of my yellow t-shirt! There is no discolouration.


Giant Anatomic Bend Aluminum Drop Handlebar (44cm), 31.8mm diameter - $30
Great condition, some minor scratching where the stem collar was attached.


Selle Royal Viper Saddle - $15
A comfortable road saddle that looks sleek. Small gouge near the back.


Giant Carbon Composite Seatpost (30.8mm diameter) - $20
A light and compliant seatpost. Scratched, but otherwise functions perfectly well.


Giant 120mm Aluminum Stem, 31.8mm, 1 1/8 steerer diameter - $15
Good condition.


Tektro R350 Dual Pivot Caliper Brake (front) - $20
Great condition. Good, strong brake. Bright, clean aluminum finish. Does not come with shoes or pads.
