2011 NS Bikes Core 1 SPARES/REPAIRS

Hi

I’m having to part with what is left of my 2011 NS Core 1. Cracking, strong bike, hardcore hardtail with decent, reliable forks, bomb-proof wheels and a 1x9 set up (more gears available, see components.)

The seatpost got stuck in the frame, properly bonded to it, alu post to cromoly frame and countless have tried and failed to remove it - including trying to bore it out from within the seatpost itself, done at Pearson Cycles’ workshop in Sutton. They failed and bored a small hole through the frame just below the toptube. Apart from the mangled seatpost, all the components, and the bike itself, are functioning, but I’ve bought a full sus now and so am having to let this go.

What I’d see it being used for - either spares and repairs, or a jump bike with a fixed, super low saddle, if you managed to whack a seat on it. I’d been considering converting it to single speed too.

Fork - Marzocchi 55RS, 160 mm travel, 20 mm axle,

Headset - Prestine, loose ball

Handlebar - NS Mint

Stem - NS Quark

Grips - None, but can supply some slightly worn black ones

Brakes - Avid Juicy 3 185mm / 185mm (Need new pads and probably a bleed on the front)

Shifter - FRONT - Sram x9 ?????? REAR - SX5 2-speed, not on the bike but I think I still have it)

Front Derailleur SRAM X5 - not on bike but I think I still have it

Rear Derailleur - Sram x9??????

Chainguide - Superstar Plasma (Original Truvativ dual-ring chainguide still available)

Cranks - Truvativ Ruktion 175mm ??????????

Chainrings 36 (+ 24T still around somewhere)
Bottom Bracket -

Pedals - DMR v8 (Rattly but perfectly functional)

Chain - probably a bit old, may need replacing.

Cassette - Sram 9 speed 11-34 ?????

Rims - NS Fundamental

Hubs - FRONT - Octane One 20mm sealed, REAR- Joytech cassette 10 mm QR

Tyres - FRONT Kenda Nevegal Stick-E 26x2.35, REAR - Specialised Purgatory ??????

Saddle NONE, but the old white Octane One still available, used but functional.

Seatpost Clamp - available.





RE: Postage - I'm based in West London, so would prefer collection but we can work something out if you need it posted. Given the logistics involved it'll probably not be rapid but hey.
