Giant ATX 890 - old-school XC hardtail, 21.5"/L

This bike was super awesome for XC back in Ontario in 2002 or so, but really it's mostly been taking up space in my storage since I moved out here - except when that time that it was totally awesome as a logging road hauler for a silly spring ski trip. It has not been ridden anywhere NEAR as much as the age would suggest.

Anyway. It was a top-end XC hardtail around 2000 or so, with rad upgrades such as the carbon bars and the world's longer stem. Components are XT and XTR (circa 2000), brake are V-brakes (but frame and fork are compatible with discs!) and I imagine the shock could do with some service.

Frame size is 21.5in - I ride it pretty spread out at 5'11, but a shorter stem would deal with this.

With a bit of love and care, this bike still has plenty of life left, and will be awesome on trails, paths, logging roads, or heck, XC racing if you don't mind the non-slack geometry.
