Mar 4, 2024Unique hand-built Syncros pursuit bike
$300 CADThis is an absolutely one-off Syncros branded bike. It was built by an employee at Syncros back in the days it was a Vancouver company, before bankruptcy, Scott, all the rest. Needs some love and tuning, but it's a real vintage catch. I've listed it as "Poor" only because I'm incorrigibly honest and there's no option in between "Good" and "Poor". Things are generally working fine, just a bit on the older side.
Size is big. I'm 5'11" with long legs and tend to prefer size L bikes, and I can just about throw a leg over this one but it wouldn't be comfortable.
Features include:
Pursuit wheel sizing (650C front / 700C rear)
Internal rear brake routing before it was cool
Wild aero handlebars
Classic lightweight seatpost rack
Friction shift for the world's tiniest cassette
Huge chainring paired with said tiny cassette
Rock Shox Magnesium fork with approximately 10mm of travel
Tires so skinny you can slice pizza with them
Pricing is a bit of a shot in the dark here. Most of the value here is in the vintage and unique nature of the bike. If you appreciate it and are interested, let me know and we can discuss.

Aug 9, 2020Colnago Dream 54 cm
$1400 CADSelling my gorgeous yellow Colnago Dream. I love this bike, riding this bike, and looking at this bike - but I've ridden it maybe once since baby #1 and will be less with baby #2 since I can sweat more in less time on my mountain bike. I'd rather you ride it than I store it. This thing rides like the wind, and is the only bike I've had people roll down their windows to compliment me on how rad it looks.
Frame size: 54 cm (I'm pretty sure, could be 56 cm) - I'm 5'11 and this has worked well for me, but on the compact side - would probably be great around the 5'9 height. You could put in a shorter stem (I might even have one).
Frame material: Aluminum main triangle, carbon stays - also carbon fork, carbon seatpost, even carbon cranks and bars. Who cares about the main triangle? It's YELLOW, and everything else is carbon.
Groupset: all Ultegra, 10-speed (I think - should check, could be 9), except rear derailleur (you know, the one with the speeds) which is Dura-Ace
Wheels: Mavic Ksyrium. Not quite matching, I replaced the rear one (it looks better - recommend replacing the front one for looks only).
Gearing: Front rings 52/39, rear (I think) 11-28
Pedals: I have some Shimano Ultegra pedals (not the ones pictured but similar) which I will happily add in as well - make me an offer.
You'll probably want to dial in the shifting a tiny bit, and replace the bar tape sooner rather than later, but this bike is good to go right from the doorstep.

Jun 15, 2020700c disc brake wheelset with rotors & tires

- Rear wheel, 700c, 10x135mm QR hub, 6-bolt disc, 28mm aluminum rim (OEM)
Note there is no cassette included.
No splitting up the parts - all or nothing. Everything is close to new, was briefly on a commuter bike before changing wheel size to 650B.

Jun 15, 2020Rock Shox Reba RL 120mm fork
$150 CAD2017 Rock Shox Reba RL 120mm suspension fork. 120mm is perfectly fine for riding the Shore if you've got fat tires!
15x110mm boost hub size, Maxle axle included. Works for 29" or 27.5"+.
Includes lockout and damping adjustment. Clearance for mid-fat tires up to at least 3" with 27.5" rims (plus knobs).
Steerer tube already cut to length from Norco Fluid frame. Fork has Cane Creek 40 crown race installed; can be used with Cane Creek headset, or removed to use other headsets.
Selling because steer tube slightly scary short with my other bike (not the Fluid). Fork is likely due for a service and has seen some trail use but time constraints (and a different FS bike) have meant it hasn't seen a huge amount of use.
