Own a bit of mountain bike history with a made in Massachusetts 1994 Fat Chance Yo Eddy!

I bought the frame almost exactly one year ago. It's a size medium and is in incredible shape for a nearly 25 year old frame. Paint looks great--classic team lavender/purple. There are a handful of small blemishes here and there but nothing crazy or that takes away from the near-perfect state of this frame and fork.

The rest of the build was an accumulation of vintage and new, each where it made the most sense:

Headset: New Velo Orange Grand Cru, Threaded
Stem/Bar: Vintage Bullmoose, Steel
Grips: New ODI Yeti
Brake Levers: New Paul Love Levers
Shifter: New Shimano Zee, 10 Speed
Rear Derailleur: New Shimano XT with clutch, 10 speed
Brakeset: New Paul Motolites, front and rear
Crankset: Vintage Shimano LX square taper, 175mm, with new Wolf Tooth narrow-wide ring, 32t
Bottom Bracket: Vintage Shimano square taper, spins smooth!
Seatpost: New Thomson Elite
Saddle: Vintage Ritchey Vector Plus, in great shape
Cassette: New Shimano 10 Speed, 11-36t
Wheelset: NOS Shimano Deore Hubs laced to NOS Sun Ringle Rims, never used before I put them on this bike!
Tires: New Schwalbe Nobby Nics, 26x2.35 front, 26x2.25 rear

I meticulously built and maintained this bike. I've worked in bike shops and have a certificate in Professional Bike Repair from the United Bicycle Institute in Portland, OR. If it were up to me, I'd keep this bike forever. It rides perfectly, is light, and has such a cool place in mountain bike history. Everywhere I go with it, people love it. Unfortunately though, I've only got so much money reserved for bikes in my life, and this one just doesn't get used very much. Honestly, it's so nice that I don't want to mess it up at all. I've used it to commute a bit and for a low-key trail ride every now and then. It's great for all of it.

Use it to ride trails, use it to commute, hang it on your wall. There's tons of possibilities here.

Let me know if you have questions.
