1993 Trek 8700 carbon fiber + Ti hard tail 26" MTB

Cool old time machine of a 1993 Trek 8700 carbon fiber mountain bike. I'm not entirely a 'bicycle guy,' so I may be off a bit on my terminology here or there. I've had this bike for a LONG time. Someone put a lot of love into this thing before I got it. I tried taking off the knobby tires and converting it to a road bike recently, but it's just not the right fit for me. It does have paint dings on the chain stay from the chain and other imperfections consistent with use - this was my main mountain bike for a while. It's in fairly nice shape, though. I'm keeping the pedals and bike computer mount. Cool vintage Nuke Proof carbon fiber bars, rare and awesome TNT performance products titanium hubs. (front and rear) Someone told me the spokes are 'half gauge,' or something like that. The chain wear measures good with a Park chain checker. Shimano XT brakes / shifters. The Odyssey U4 Plus titanium horseshoe brace thing on the front brake really stiffened up and improved the braking. Brand new (five rides or so) Michelin 26" tires for pavement. Marzocchi Superfly 63mm air sprung fork; works great. Coda suspension seatpost. I'M NOT SURE WHAT SIZE THE FRAME IS and am not even sure how I'd measure that correctly. Let me know what you want measured and I can get that to you; the seat height is currently set up for me = 6'0". If there's something else you want to see a photo of just let me know. First $400 takes it; for $400 I'm FIRM on the price. For now I'd prefer to sell locally, just because I'd like you to see it in person before you buy. There is a very real chance I'm inadvertently misrepresenting something just because I don't know any better, and I'd hate to ship this only to have you disappointed with one part or another.
