Giant XTC Advanced 1 27.5+ Medium

$2000 USD
2018 Giant XTC Advanced 1 boost 27.5+ bike, size medium. I built this up for my wife to see if she would dig it, and it turns out she enjoys pedaling on pavement well enough but this really isn't her thing. There are very few miles on the bike, as you'll be able to see when you put eyes on the tubeless Maxxis Recon 27.5 2.8 tires. They're pretty close to new. Upgrades that dropped over a pound (it weighs 27.0 lbs by my admittedly imprecise bathroom scale, and I'm generous with the Orange sealant) include Truvative Noir T40 720mm carbon handlebars, an Ibis 738 wheelset (that saved almost 3/4 lb over the heavy stock wheels) and Sram XO1 carbon cranks. (those saved around 1/4 lb from stock) The Sigma BC 9.16 bike computer is included, as well as the factory dropper seat post. The seat is a Giant Contact Neutral and the brakes are Sram Level T. The Giant Airway Lite bottle cage is under 20 grams. The fork is a 120mm Fox 34 Performance Elite. Some sticker rash on the fork but only a handful of hours otherwise. The cheap but light flat pedals are included unless you don't want them, then I'll hang onto them. The only two negatives are that the bike was shipped to me poorly packaged and the handlebars had put a few chips in the frame, mostly on the top tube, and the drivetrain was downgraded to a used 11 speed Sram. Brand new Sunrace 11-42t cassette and Praxxis Works 30t chainring. The nice thing about the XO1 carbon cranks, besides being light, is that Wolf Tooth makes a variety of chainrings that will adapt these cranks to any drive system if you want to change. The gearing range is good for the bike as it's set up, though. Everything was installed with a torque wrench. I'm firm on the price for now. If you're Minneapolis / Twin Cities local I'm happy to meet you at Lebanon Hills or Wirth as long as you have cash in hand. I hold the cash, you test ride the bike for as long as you'd like. I'll ride with you, but in the really short term I'm nursing an injury and can't ride just yet. For now I'd prefer Minneapolis local pickup, but if you're really interested contact me and I'll consider shipping. Thank you!

Thanks! Yeah, I'll never sell that old GT STS-2. I've always thought of the frame as a piece of art. I should dust that thing off and ride it again for old time's sake.

Ibis Hifi 800mm carbon handlebar / bar - 20mm rise

$85 USD
800mm Ibis Hifi carbon handlebar. I prefer a 7* sweep, so I swapped bars. This came on a bike I bought used - the previous owner had installed the bars. There is a little dent (less than 1/4mm deep by my caliper) starting 150mm in on the left side where one of the brake levers was mounted, but it's in nice shape overall. The 'dent' is accentuated by the lighting in the fifth photo and looks like a superficial deformation, not an ugly crush. The price includes shipping in the continental US and my Paypal fees. You can't get these anymore - the new Ibis 800mm bars use screw in aluminum ends to get to 800mm, this one is 100% carbon fiber and uncut. The price for local face-to-face pickup with cash is $75.
