2016 GT Grade Claris Upgraded. Sell or Trade.

t is just a little too big for me so I am selling or will trade for a similar style bike with a 55-56cm frame, may look at another 57-58cm frame but with a drastic sloping top tube design (shorter seat tube). I may also consider trading the whole bike for one nice adventure frame in that size, or a nice 29er bike or frame in 18.5" or 19" size.

This bike is probably good for someone around 6'1"-6'2" plus or minus depending on the rider.

The frame and original parts have less than 140km total riding on them. Only parts that have seen more use than that are the brakes, crankset, and seat post. The brakes have low kms but were after market and used on another bike. Lines, front pads, and front rotor are new. The seat post was upgraded to a Zertz carbon model, and the crankset is a compact FSA carbon that I took off a road bike last fall.

New parts include:

- Alex EN24 wheelset with Shimano hubs, rear freehub will take an 11sp MTB cassette if you wanted to upgrade.

- Challenge Grifo Comp 32c tires.

- Bottom bracket

- Front pads and rotor

- Cassette

The wheel upgrade shaved very little off for weight, but added leagues of durability and performance. Tires are wayyyy better but trail oriented.

Cassette was changed for range only, now an 11-32, previous was only 25t top gear.

Brakes are TRP Parabox hydraulic converters. Has hydraulic calipers actuated from a master cylinder under the stem. Front has new Shimano pads. Pads are bedded and no squealing or shuttering. Parabox manual is included.

Carbon crank and better quality rings improved the shifting and took some weight off. Went to a slightly wider BB spindle for clearance and stability.

Bontrager 100mm stem was added just to get the bars a little closer while trying to fit it for myself. I still have the original GT 120mm stem that can go with the bike.

I have a matching saddle bag, a black bottle cage, and a bell that can go with the bike as well.

I was going to swap in a 105 11sp drivetrain and make it my main bike, but I would be more comfortable on something smaller. I can put 28mm road tires on if someone wants to use this one for commuting.
