1985 MASI Nuova Strada 56cm

This legendary Italian brand was made famous as Dave Stoller's ride of choice in the film "Breaking Away". The top-flight frameset is built with Columbus SL tubing and Cinelli lugs! I've installed more Cinelli in the cockpit and equipped the bike with fantastic Campagnolo C-Record components, including the jeweled "Cobalto" brakes that the company subbed in for the finicky, over-engineered Delta brakes. Note: the frame is stamped "56", as the company measured center-to-top; it's actually about 54cm, center-to-center, with a top tube of 55cm.

Specs: CAMPAGNOLO C-Record 6-speed group, including: CRANKSET (172.5mm, 53/39t), BRAKE LEVERS, SHIFT LEVERS, DERAILLEURS (front/rear), BRAKES (Cobalto), BOTTOM BRACKET and SEATPOST (aero); HEADSET- Campagnolo Super Record; HANDLEBAR- Cinelli (42cm) with NEW Cinelli bar tape, STEM- Cinelli 1R (115cm); SADDLE- Selle Italia Flite; WHEELSET- Wolber TX Profil rims, Campagnolo C-Record hubs and Regina Extra America 6-speed freewheel (14-20t) with NEW Donnelly Strada LGG tires
