1987 Raleigh Team Pro 531c w/ 600 Tri Color STI

This 1987 Raleigh is from the Nottingham England workshop.
The frame is Reynolds 531c, Gipiemme drop outs, no stamping top of seat stays and a unique decal set.
Have the original fork but it was slightly bent but the frame is in perfect condition. I could straighten it (have access to frame/fork alignment table from years in a frame shop) but rather not ride a weakened fork bought one by my neighbor and Seattle legendary builder Micheal O'Brien. Opted for Columbus tubing and a sloping crown since desired a stiffer fork than 531 in the corners (big improvement over the original fork).
58cm (c-c) seat tube, 57cm (c-c) top tube, 9cm stem and 44cm bars.
build:
Tange Levin Headset (have Shimano 600 but wanted steel over alloy for increased stiffness), Specialized/Nitto stem. Dimension compact bar, compete Shimano 600 Tri Color group, Mavic Open 4 CD rims, Conti Gran Prix 4 Season 28mm tires, Campagnolo post, Zefal HP pump, matching red Blackburn cages, gel cork w/ proper cat eye plugs, Brooks saddle (C17 red and have others), spare proper brake pads to this version of the Shimano calipers. Pedals - yours (keeping the Looks).
Plan on keeping the Brooks Professional (worn to my but ya know) but have a new Brooks C17 installed.
The bike rides straight and the wheels have very little wind up. The whole package does justice to why people get all weepy eyed on the steel/lug/euro combination.
