I keep this bike in top condition. I clean the drivetrain after every ride.
As a former RockShox race technican I service my own suspension. I found the stock rear shock and linkage to be too linear and not enough support in the mid stroke. I replaced the linkage with the Cascade Components linkage and added a NeMeg to the Super Deluxe. My rider weight is 165lbs
I’ve owned this bike for exactly 2 years. There are some scratches on the frame. Most of them from bike racks and shuttles.
Sounds to good to be true, right? Probably is, there is one caveat. (See photos) The rear rim has a couple small cracks at a couple of the spokes. It’s been like this for at least 6 months. I think the new owner will get hundreds of miles out of this rim. Maybe thousands if you put a tire insert.
