2019 YT Capra 29 Carbon

YT Capra CF 29 frame

Second owner, frame ridden 2 seasons myself, 3 seasons total. Frame certainly has life left, no carbon damage, but has a couple issues as described below.

It is absolutely still 100% shredable. I have listed the price super low to get it sold, with the minor known issues it has. I ran the frame mullet with a coil, so the DPX2 that's included is in excellent condition. The BB and headtubes are in perfect condition.

the good:
-frame bearings replaced with only couple rides. frame was completely disassembled, all bearings replaced with enduro Max and enduro abec-5 bearings, then loctite'd, grease'd and torqued to spec.

-shock is like new

-FOX transfer dropper, 170mm dropper, externally routed included for free (no lever).

-no carbon frame damage

the not so good:
-the internal cable routing (just for the dropper) was messed up when i bought this frame (the owner didnt tell me). I tried several ways but couldnt internally route it. I ended up running an AXS post to solve the problem. This why externally routed FOX transfer dropper is included for free (The frame cable port for the shifter is perfectly fine and unaffected).

-threaded inserts for the brake adapter have appeared to pull out very slightly by maybe a millimeter. I'm not sure if this is the way the frame comes or not, it was like this when i purchased it. when torqued to spec i have had no issues. If you torque spec and do not overtighten it should work perfectly fine (this is just a full transparency add).

-frame was covered in 3M clear bra, i removed it to clean it up and inspect the frame but it left residue all over as you can see in images. Apologies i dont have time to deal with cleaning it

-derailleur hanger is perfectly straight, but the exterior bolt is a little marred up from the previous owner wrenching on it. Easy fix if needed, you can get that part from YT for 20bucks. Does not affect function of rear axle at all, it is the bolt thats holds the derailleur hanger to the frame (it is tight).

Frame obviously has some issues but still works perfectly fine. I replaced this with the new version of the capra. I typically ride a large, but found this 2019 xl geo to fit perfect, in most ways i prefer this 2019 XL geo over the 2021/22 size Large geo.
