DT Swiss Revamps 1700 Series Wheels With Anti-Pedal Kickback Hubs and New Rims
been running DEG DF hub in 20° on 140mm bike for 3months and it works great, but at high speed compressions do feel bit of pedal tug towards end of travel, anticipated that would be the case with the POI. In contrast, do not experience any kickback with Sidekick hub on Megatower. Makes me wonder if DEG DF kickback would be more prounounced on longer travel bikes, and may be better suited to shorter travel application. I do like the simpler internals on the heavy-use trail bike tho.

Staff Rides: Seb Stott’s Pivot Firebird
@Muscovir: Assuming you are referring to equal tension between left (NDS) to right (DS) sides, not the spokes in one side of te wheel. In personal experience building 40+ personal wheels of all types, asymetric rim drilling is the primary factor here in acheiving more balanced tension from left side to right side, not bracing angle. Spoke hole offset allows more similar spoke length from left to right side, which directly corresponds to more-similar tension from left to right side. In application this is self-evident when doing the spoke calculations and building. Stating as fact that this is achieved by bracing angles shows an over-consumption of 157 marketing.

Review: KOM Xeno Hubs - Reinventing The Wheel
Very cool engineering solution and competitive hub weights, but after experiencing what my Sidekick and DEG-DF hubs do.... I'm only willing to ride to a hub that doesnt provide those benefits on a short travel bike that doesnt seem to be affected as much (IE 120mm travel bike).

2021 S-Works enduro (converted from Expert) Sale includes: Both carbon AND stock aluminum links, as pictured (carbon links from ~$400 from local dealer) Fox X2 (unridden since service, functions like new, have receipt, ~$160) Better Bolts titanium bolt kit (~$100) Axle Headset (stainless enduro bearings) Frame is in great condition. That are many scrapes and scratches that are diffifult to see, but mechanically excellent. Has not been crashed, not cracks, creaks, or issues whatsover. There are scrapes to the inside near cassette area, and the chainguard is ripping up a bit. PLEASE review all images, imperfections are documented to the best of my abilities. You are purchasing exactly what you see. There is a descent surficial scratch under the front of the shock. The rear end is lubed, loctited, and torqued to specificaiton. I purchased the carbon links locally from River City Bikes to convert the frame to S-Works (this is the only difference between Expert and S-works bare frame, the links drop several hundred grams). Frame has well been cared for, and seen intermittent riding for two seasons, I have several mtb's so it was not a daily driver. Bearings are in great condition. The rear end really is magic in rough terrain. I also have the WRP mullet link, and silver Cascade Link if you are interested I am the original owner, and have the original purchase receipt. Buyer to pay paypal fees, and flate rate shipping of 90$ which includes insurance Local pickup available I stand behind this description. I do have this listed elsewhere Thank you, -Tom
