2021 Bird Forge Custom Steel Hardtail (Reynolds 853)

Selling this epic Bird Forge custom build. Size Large.

Stunning steel frame. Neat welds. Super progressive geometry - mega long reach, steep seat tube angle, slack head angle, very short chainstays. About as capable as a hardtail can be, you'll be catching up people on full sussers!

Fantastic spec throughout: Pike Ultimate 150mm, Hunt Endurowide Wheels, Burgtec bar and stem, DMR deathgrips, Michelin tires set up tubeless, OneUp 210mm dropper (monster drop!)

The seat on this is a "team only" fabric saddle that was never sold. Was for team riders and brand ambassadors only. Titanium Rails on it.

This is at least a £3100 build if you add up all the bits (see screengrab of spreadseet). Just had new BB, new chain and cassette only a few rides back. Frame, fork & headset less than a year old, wheel bearings done not long ago. She's running solid and tight. If you drop the rear wheel it sounds like a basketball.

Only a few minor scuffs and scratches on the bike. Most notable are small scratch on non-driveside chainstay, some marks on non drive-side fork-lower and a small chip on driveside chainstay. Have pictured all 3. No dings or dents on the rims. Spokes are all good. No tire issues. No rattles, squeeks or creeks of any kind. Brake pads plenty of life in them and brakes firm. Front tire plenty of tread but showing signs of wear. Next owner can replace this with their tire of choice.

Collection only. This would ideally be from Trek Bicycle Poole (where I work). Other locations I could potentially sell the bike are Alton, Hampshire (where my parents live), Chiswick, West London (where my girlfriend lives) or near Sheffield, where my new job is starting in August.
