bought this a couple years ago; works extremely well, smooth, a great practical addition to any hitch mount rack where you need access to the vehicle. then i got a full size truck and have no use for any rack as i now put bikes inside.
only used a handful of times, then put in storage. no rust. any discolouration in photos is dust and fluid film residue to keep it free of corrosion.
