Video: Front Brake & Body Position Skills for Steeps with ZEP Mythbusters
i think i've become pretty good at being neutral to aggressive for descending steeps, in part because of these videos and experience. where i struggle maintaining good form is when it's steep, loose and chunky, with turns, trees, root balls, etc. when their is minimal traction i start to get very defensive and sometimes end up right in a seriously defending position, arms straight and way over the back, surfing it out. i hate it, but these sections of trail can be tricky and terrifying. i'd like to be the boss, but sometimes the trail owns me....

The Pinkbike Podcast: Episode 6 - Over Biked Or Under Biked?
i just got one. i'm going to give you the predictable comment here; it's far and away the best bike i've owned and is generally totally awesome. you would say i'm overbiked on 50% of the trails i ride, but i don't care, it climbs and rides like a (big) trail bike and better than any of the trail bikes i've had prior so what the hell. and on the way down, well it's got your back and then some. friendly monster bike.

Opinion: Ode to an Oddball - Rediscovering Two-Wheeled Fun
@bok-CZ: i hear ya, but i think it's something to do with how good Yeti's are and the elitism that the brand image portrays, and maybe, some of the people who buy them. not all of course. example- i was on a basic coaching course, in Whistler BC (on the blue trails just around the village) and we were in a semi circle debriefing a skill. a pair of statuesque riders in matching skin suits rolled up on their Yetis and stopped RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE, of our group. they checked their phones to compare routes, or data, or whatever, and didn't once look at us or realize they were right in the middle of a group of about 10 riders. they were like Vancouver doctors, or stockbrokers, or who knows, but this is what many think of when they think Yeti. rich, self important twats on the most expensive bikes money can buy. you know, like Ferrari owners.
