Job Summary:

This full time, seasonal role is crucial to facilitating efficient and thorough bicycle assemblies from the box. However, this position is also responsible for ensuring every bike that leaves in a customer’s hands is safe and in perfect condition.

The full-time Builder will be expected to assemble bicycles ranging from 12” children’s to high-end electric mountain bikes. They will also be expected to multi-task, and be able to wisely put aside their current assembly in order to serve customers’ needs; i.e. doing “safety checks” on bikes leaving the store, installing racks or fenders, and even installing aftermarket lights wired into e-bikes.

Essentially, this is a role intended for an experienced technician, that will not be working on used bicycles in for repair. Their daily schedule will be different and set-aside from the “Repair” technicians in the store.

Daily Responsibilities:

Follow procedure for different brands to remove the bike from the box, and assemble that bike in a timely manner based on each make and model.
Maintain organization and order of operations while choosing bikes to assemble, and follow-through when that bike is complete.

Electronic drivetrains
